Wæm Rǐmza-soldo (/ˈrɪmza/ /ˈsoldo/ [acquaintance] [canyon]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Bǟaftu Parish, Wækwìilbu District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Wæm Rǐmza-soldo is derived from the Constructi language, as Wæm Rǐmza-soldo was founded by Mog̈ili Treg̈ka, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo has a yearly average temperature of 32°C (89°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 37°C (98°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 28°C (82°F). Wæm Rǐmza-soldo receives an average of 217 cm/y (85 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Wæm Rǐmza-soldo covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 20488 m (-18681 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo was founded durring the early 10th century, by Mog̈ili Treg̈ka. The establishment of Wæm Rǐmza-soldo was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Mog̈ili Treg̈ka struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Wæm Rǐmza-soldo as a prison colony.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Rǐmza-soldo is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo is was constructed arround several restrictive baked earthen mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Wæm Rǐmza-soldo's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Wæm Rǐmza-soldo's monster and outlaw focused fortifications has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Wæm Rǐmza-soldo’s streets. In spite of this, quite a few people can be seen reading and the town has an abundance of libraries. It’s quite clear the community values education.

Civic Infrastructure

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Wæm Rǐmza-soldo. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Wæm Rǐmza-soldo's parks.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Wæm Rǐmza-soldo.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Wæm Rǐmza-soldo's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Large Town. Wæm Rǐmza-soldo's grid is powered by a god's will and kindness.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Wæm Rǐmza-soldo's natural decorations nor waterways.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

There’s more than one leader in Wæm Rǐmza-soldo, but at least some of them are at each other’s throats. It might be a conflict between formal leadership and informal authorities, or it could be a struggle among civil officials. Their interests might diverge sharply, or it could be a personal grudge that’s boiled over. Outside threats and internal problems are likely being ignored until the power struggle is resolved.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by grandeur of scale, simplicity of geometric forms, dramatic use of columns, and a preference for blank walls. This design ethos extended to re-imagining earlier styles of structure to create them anew, with a similar overall look and feel to one another..

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is long in Wæm Rǐmza-soldo.

The Skin Stitcher near Wæm Rǐmza-soldo are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Wæm Rǐmza-soldo's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves gestures to channel Mysticism energies of tier 3 via singing.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century Wæm Rǐmza-soldo experienced an impossibly long, cold, and stormy winter unlike anything seen before. The worst of the disaster struck The storm coated everything in a thick layer of ice and freezing countless animals, plants, and people to death. Wæm Rǐmza-soldo lost 146 people, and 130 livestock in the disaster.. The disaster is remembered as the Dread Screams, after the sounds of the winds.

History
